Git-R-Done

Nope I cant imagine a time when this joke was funny. Maybe the first time the comedian uttered this phrase but never again. It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't explode in popularity after that horrible Jeff Foxworthy Blue collar tour movie. and people out there reading this saying "it's not that popular" nope I live in West (by god) Virginia it's too popular.
No exceptions: Sorry I tried

Twitter? I hardly know her.

words that end in -er have all had this happen to them and i feel bad that even i use this one on occasion, but i do notice it very rarely gets a laugh. so with that being said this joke is not that lame but is over-usage is.
Exceptions: people gotta know when to say it who their saying it to and if they can't come up with something better. Limit self to 1-3 times in a day, each not within the same hour of another.

....I guess its free.

Say a cashier is ringing you up and one of the barcodes isn't scanning correctly so their swipe it 2 or 3 times more before they call for a price check during which time you should keep your mouth shut
(or continue to twitter that you're "soooo excited for glee this week") what ever you do never ever say "I guess it's free." The cashier may smile at you when you say it, but they want that smile to make your head explode. not original, not funny, not cool.
Exception: If the cashier says it then subsequently gives it to you for free. Which would be really awesome, then when you tell the story it will be funny.

Working Hard or hardly working?

Two reasons why I don't like this one if i am working hard and you say this to me I will want to punch you, and if im not working hard then you have reminded me that I'm being lazy thus guilty thus angry at you for saying that. So never say this to anyone with a job especially at their job, or simply never say this ever. This joke, even if you work hard, it will hardly work.
Exceptions: To inquire the status of a machine such as a printer, or you could greet maybe a cat like that.... unless it's a shop cat.... well maybe if it's a laid-back shop cat.

... your face or your face is ...

Your face is like the PC, or little kid, version of "your mom" and as I mentioned before these call and response things are recycled garbage that finds it's was into a conversation then makes everyone just think "wow, well now that that's ruined..."
Therefore "your face" is still a pretty lame joke
Exception: Be really creative with it and don't use it very often then maybe it could get a little laugh, but you can think of something better to say.

Smile you're on camera

This goes out to businesses, we are aware that you have cameras they've been around for about 30 years now. That joke is only funny in the context of a a hidden camera show and I think that's all I need to say.
Exception: This joke might be funny between friends, but people are gonna say "This is totally going on you tube." still not funny, but people are gonna be amused by your embarrassment.

..... That's what she said.

I understand that alot of people are fond of this joke, but you got to understand all the call and response jokes are pretty lame. On a rare occasion this joke can be funny, but most people don't use it at the right time then they keep doing it until even if it was funny it's value would have deprecated to a small chuckle. what's worse than that the people surrounding that person feel they must do it too. The joke isn't that lame but the obsessive use of the joke is.

Exception: if the call is really really good, but you can only use it one or two times a day, and it can't be within an hour of another person's use because then your piggy backing off of someone else and there's nothing more lame than that.

Exception to the Exception: If that is in fact what she said.
